Presenting Corliss

Corliss hails from New Orleans, the birthplace of swingin' and smokin' jazz, its' legendary streets drenched in pulsating rhythms and musical passions. God daughter to Louis Prima, she grew up in the company of Louis Armstrong, Al Hirt, Dr John and the Neville Brothers at her fathers' buzzing jazz joints on Bourbon Street, embracing the uplifting and liberating spirit of the Southern scene.

Corliss oozes the intoxicating essence, unique charms and hedonism of the Big Easy. Now a regular and much loved fixture on the London scene, she is famed as much for her nocturnal capers as belting her heart out. Performing feelgood jazz and soulful blues alongside a honky tonk piano, rumble of drums and bright flash of horns, this is lusty entertainment that makes you feel alive.

Corliss likes to play with songs: I like to give them a twist, see what's in there. I never sing anything the same way twice.
